Tell Us Your Story

America’s Health Centers are more than just organizations or buildings. They are health care homes and family doctors to millions of Americans. Medicaid is more than just a public insurance program. It is a lifeline for most of those it covers and the financial foundation of America’s Health Centers.

Yet, as Congress and other policymakers consider changes that could devastate Medicaid and health centers, they too often do not have a human faces or stories of real people to inform their decisions. As you step up for your health center and all of America’s Health Centers, one of the most important actions you can take is to tell us your story so we can share it with Members of Congress and others. PLEASE take a few minutes to tell us and policymakers your story in words and/or in personal video message using the form and links below:

If you are a health center patient, tell us what having your health center means to you and what it would mean if your health center had to cut back its hours or services, or even close its doors.
If you or anyone in your family is covered by Medicaid, tell us what it would mean if services you or they need were no longer covered or you were no longer eligible for coverage at all.

We know that for many people, sharing their story is not easy, but it is critically important if we are to save America’s Health Centers. Your story may be the one that makes a difference to a key Member of Congress or the White House. So, PLEASE TELL US – TELL EVERYONE YOUR STORY!
