Step Up For Health Centers and Add Your Name to the Petition to Save America’s Health Centers

To the Congress and President:

While you work to address our nation’s deficit, do not make any changes to Medicaid that would limit benefits, eliminate coverage for some people, increase co-payments for patients, or fail to pay Federally Qualified Health Centers fairly for the Medicaid patients they treat. Changes like these would damage the financial stability of EVERY one of America’s over 1200 health centers and even cause some to close. That would mean that EVERY health center patient, not just those covered by Medicaid could lose their health care home. Do not undermine the successful Health Centers Program as you enact Medicaid changes and cuts to the federal budget. The health and lives of our families and our neighbors should not be negotiated away!
